This week has been awesome!!!! I got transferred to Miami as a Zone leader! My new comp is Elder Hutchison, he's from Vegas and goes home after this transfer. He's super cool and we've been getting along great! We cover the YSA for the stake so our area is huge! It covers 2 different zones! I never thought I would get anywhere near Miami since It's all Spanish, so its been awesome!
We've had a lot of fun working hard! This week was super busy, we had 2 district trainings and an exchange with the AP's (where I got attacked by bedbugs) all within a few days as well this past week our area struggled and we definitely saw it directly correlate with the zone not seeing success. We felt pretty bad and are making plans on how to improve this upcoming week and to help inspire and lift the zone to do the same so that we don't have a repeat of last week. As we've worked hard to find YSA's we've seen a lot of miracles.
Last night we really struggled to find a YSA "hotspot" so we were harvesting in this neighborhood and couldn't find anyone. We prayed that we would find 1 elect YSA to work with by the end of the night and we had a lot of faith that we would find. As we finished harvesting we realized that we hadn't found anyone but as we were leaving the last house after praying with them we got a referral for a YSA named Johnny who was harvested earlier that day. It was a miracle!!! So we hurried over to see Johnny that night and he was surprised to see a different set of missionaries for the second time that day but was excited to see us. We shared a message with him and set expectations and he is set to be baptized onJan. 4! It was an amazing blessing and miracle from God!
I cant' wait to talk with you guys on Christmas, I'm super excited! Oh yeah, I totally forgot, we get to go to the BYU game today at the Miami Beach Bowl!!!!!!! President told us yesterday morning that we could go with a investigator if the ward invited us since they got a lot of free tickets, so we scrambled to find an investigator and got some tickets, so we'll be going today! we are all in shock and awe that this is still happening! It's going to be fun, and look for me on TV:)
